23^rd November Day 1 Arrive Cairo - Fly to Aswan - Meet and Greet

 

24^th November Day 2 Aswan 1 HB

Today you have the opportunity to feed your soul in the quiet beauty of the Nile at Aswan and be nurtured in Nubian hospitality at our special ethnic retreat where we prepare body mind and soul, to follow the initiate's journey along the Nile. Welcome Dinner.

 

25^th November Day 3 Abu Simbel 1 HB

Today we drive to Abu Simbel and arrive at our beautiful Eco Lodge where we will stay for a couple of nights, a place all our groups fall in love with.

 

26^th November Day 4 Abu Simbel 2 HB

Pre-dawn ceremony; visiting the complex of Abu Simbel at dawn; group work and deep journeys; relaxing and resting at this amazing retreat, music night of celebration.

 

 

27^th November Day 5 Nile Cruise 1: Philae FB

Today we journey back to Aswan to board our cruise ship.  We will visit the Philae Temple and stay overnight at Aswan.

 

From the Temple of Isis at Philae, through Sekhmet's Chapel in Karnak, Abydos, Denderah and Luxor. Visiting Isis in the Temple of love; walking the path between yesterday and tomorrow into the eternal NOW. See the great unfinished Obelisk in the powerful granite quarry. Philae Temple sound and Light show in the evening; and spice market and perfumery visit where we discover how the ancient Egyptians refined the oil and worked them on the chakra system

 

28^th November Day 6 Nile Cruise 2: Edfu, Kom Ombo, Esna FB

The encompassing power of the Nile is quite indescribable enjoyed from our cruise ship where we relax between meditations and rituals designed for each temple.

 

29th November Day 7 Nile Cruise 3: Luxor, Valley Kings and Queens (Pharaoh Hatshepsut), Medinat Habu Temple, Colossi of Memnon FB

Opportunity to visit several tombs, including Tut Ankh Amun, as well as an Alabaster Factory and Papyrus Factory.

 

30^th November Day 8 Karnak & Luxor Temples FB

Private Coach to Karnak Temple Complex (Chapel of Sekhmet).  The day will conclude with an evening visit to Luxor Temple.

 

1^st December Day 9 Denderah & Abydos over night at Sohag FB

After a leisurely breakfast we will take a private coach to visit Denderah - Temple of Hathor, and Abydos - Temple of Osiris.  Experience the extraordinary energy at these two magnificent sites.  

 

2^nd December Day 10            Minya FB

Enjoy breathtaking scenery as we travel to Minya: the holy city of Akhenaton, husband of the beautiful Nefertiti and see what he believed was the secret home of the Sun God. We travel on to the massive and as yet unspoiled oasis at Fayoum overlooking Lake Karun, visit the valley of whales and the wonderful Lake Wadi Rayan. This whole area is surrounded by sacred temples and off the beaten track. The desert is nothing short of incredible - the natural formations and vast areas of silence ... in these rugged and beautiful surroundings we'll do our final settling our final letting go.

 

3^rd December Day 11 Fayoum FB

Drive from Minya to Fayoum, visit the pyramid of Meidum, the Wadi Rayan and Valley of the Whales.  Dine Bedouin style around a camp fire and sleep under the starry gaze of the Milky Way, bear witness to each other as we state final intentions. Breakfast, Lunch & Dinner

 

4^th December Day 12 Fayoum Oasis, Cairo B

An opportunity to spend some more time in the Fayoum Oasis before we travel to Cairo, and an exciting evening visit to the Bazaar.

 

Wander the back streets, try the pancakes and sweet potatoes while browsing world famous El Kalili Sook, then watch the amazing whirling dervishes at Wekalet El-Ghouri Arts Centre Al Gourki. The center itself has an amazing atmosphere, so calming, playing beautiful music by Omar Khairat.  We can go out buy sandwiches, browse the market or the Centre's own two little shops one with jewelry and beautiful art and the other with local pottery. Everyone loves this night.

 

5^th December Day 13 Giza Plateau and Sakkara HB

Full day excursion to Sakkara and Dahshur, reflecting on the timeless wonder of the Sphinx, visiting the great pyramids, and a fun Camel Ride with a well-deserved lunch at our favourite "chicken place". 

 

6^th December Day 14            Museum; Sacred and Old Cairo B

Visits to the Egyptian Museum, Sultan Hassan Mosque, and the places that have been blessed with the presence of Moses and Jesus in Old Cairo.

 

7^th December Day 15 Farewell B

Depart Cairo - hearts full, lives changed forever, we will say farewell to the city of Light; our new Egyptian spiritual family and fly home.
