Classic Egypt the Sinai and Sharm el Sheik December 2008

Our 5th spiritual tour began in Cairo and our welcome to Egypt, each other, our programme, and style was made around the pool. Then in the garden we learned the basic yoga and meditation techniques which will be offered during the tour.

In Cairo we visited the Egyptian Museum - Pyramids of Giza - Sakkara Pyramid and ate at the at the amazing Azhar Park, the most beautiful park in Egypt, with a wonderful view of all of Islamic Cairo. We saw Egypt as the cradle of religions, Old Cairo and walked in the back streets of the most famous Souk in the world (Khan Elkhalili) and took the over-night sleeper train to Aswan.

In Aswan we visited Philae Temple of Isis and experienced cleansing and initiations by the waters of the Nile. We then traveled to the Eco Lodge where we saw the very informative sound and light show in the evening and sun rise at Abu Simbel Temple. Back in Aswan we visited the perfumery. Then we cruised on the Radamis II through the temples of Kom Ombo - Edfu - Luxor - Karnak. Then Valley of the Kings - Colossi of Memnon

Sinai

We drove by 4X4 into the Sinai, to Serabiet Elkhadim for a night under the stars. Hiked up to where ancient Egyptians mined turquoise and built a shrine for Goddess Hathor so lonely and untouched with a very special energy and experienced beautiful initiations and releases there. Drove through the forest of pillars (a magnificent natural formation caused by volcanic eruption) into Saint Katharine where we climbed Mount Sinai to see sun rise or spend the night at a lovely camp under the stars.

Red Sea Relaxation Break

We drove to Nuiwba for a 3 nights under the stars on the beach. Beach huts or sleeping bags, early morning swimming and stretching / yoga / meditation / some of us rode camels and others horses. We had fun and recovered from our journey.

Lemurian Living Light - Egyptian Mastery 2008

We left our paradise for the commercialization but luxurious Sharm El Sheik. Some chilled out and prepared for home while others completed Egyptian Mastery 2008 by completing training to Sekhem: Lemurian Living Light
