Vicki Rebecca
and Amr Elhelly's 6th spiritual tour
Classic Egypt and the Oasis 29th November - 13th
December 2010
Our 6th spiritual tour with a magical group, so connected we
just seemed to cut through everything from getting out of
Aberdeen in 20 inches of snow in the first place; through
(and you have to have seen the thronging crowds to know how
truly amazing this is) being first and having complete alone
time in the temple of Queen Nefertari at Abu Simbel - an
apt beginning for a group of 9 women (our young guide told
the irate security guard outside we were a group of grieving
widows mourning our husbands - absolutely NOT spiritual
tourists holding hands and ohm-ing!) To a whole ten minutes
alone in the Kings Chamber Great Pyramid and then, even
better, showing the mass of Japanese tourists that followed
us how to hold hands and bring the energy through - it was
truly amazing - from the little shy giggles you could see
the penny dropping as they realised
the enormity of this sound chamber - by the time we walked
down the stairs ecstatic they were ohm-ing on the way up!!
Sheer joy!
So from delays and snow we arrived in “Willy Wonkas
Chocolate factory” on the Nile, our first stop in Aswan, you
need to see the pictures. Here was Nubian hospitality and
culture exchange at its best: "Tiger" giving everyone
massages, Sheena teaching us all reflexology and language of
the body, our first initiation to the Portal of the
Firmament on the banks of the Nile…. Beginning to get to
know each other, as we meditated, practiced a little yoga
and began the teachings from the mystery schools. At sunset
we rode on the felucca, then went off to learn about the
wonderful Egyptian Perfumes, their healing properties and
how they relate to the chakras .
Our next home along the Nile was at Abu Simbel and the
delicious food at the eco lodge, but the highlight was the
Temple at dawn. That morning the group stood outside
cleansing and sipping tea and connected in a deeper way,
with the stars, moon and Jupiter as our witnesses, we began
to truly remember. At the temple we stood back waiting for
the door to open and then in the pre dawn, holding hands, we
walked as a unit, entered the temple and received a blessing
of the divine feminine, pure high divine light pouring into
us as one – wow
Having relaxed and retreated, formed our bonds and placed
our intentions we left Aswan. Our bus journeys in convoy are
always fun, a mixture of teaching, sharing and sleeping. We
all introduced and played our favourite music track of all
time and said why we love it. By then an easy sense of
purpose had emerged which grew deeper as we joined our
cruise boat to Luxor through the temples where we
experienced spiritual cleansing, meditation, sound
healing, as we worked with the energies and chakras of both
Egypt and our own bodies...
...Philae: Isis, the Temple of LOVE: then Kom Ombo, and the
Gods: Sobek and Horus, Edfu Temple, Karnak and the Chapel of
Sekhmet, getting those early moments and sharing with
another group.
Luxor and her temple at night, the West Bank, Valley of the
Kings, Valley of the Queens, Hatchepsut and the Colossi of
Memnon.
We drew the Ace of discs - bring through that perfection,
that inner and outer abundance and beauty, that richness of
life. And lived it!
On our cruise ship resting from the spiritual aspects of our
journey, within the grounded reality of other tourists,
modern buffet, gym, massage and luxurious rooms, we shared
and laughed and rested and played, we showed them how to
party, belly dancing the night away, really letting our hair
down
.....spiritual discovery
and growth...
Back on the bus
and our journey through the Oasis -
Kharga Oasis; Bagwat and the Pioneer Hotel, Dakhla Oasis;
Desert Lodge and El Qasr where we watched the moon as she
turned in the heavens and reappear, pregnant with our new
age, the birth of a new dragonfly before 5 in a circle. We'd
already changed - a massive healing occurred in the dessert.
A life reclaimed, powers reclaimed. I’m not sure if I can
write or explain or even if it’s my tale to tell, perhaps
another day.
Bahria Oasis, Museum of Golden Mummies and Two Tombs, the
White & Black deserts; Crystal Mountain, vast areas of
silence and beauty...
The dessert touched us like nothing else on the tour and
we’ll be going back.
......integration
....preparation
..then graduation..
Cairo and the Pyramids
Pyramids of Giza - King's Chamber, The Sphinx, Sakkara…
Farewell lunch…
Evening spent the amazing vibrant Elkhalili souk and the
back street markets and cobbled streets, Then the Whirling
Dervishes – what an experience, the building, music and
energy of the dancers.
Finally the Egyptian museum, citadel and journey home.
We drew Ace of wands: fire, great, strong, creative energy;
dynamic force; transformation. Our group purpose from when
we get home. My inner
conviction is that the whole experience will be a magical
one of remembering and simply becoming more of all we can
be...
....a truly
amazing journey in every way and it was!

For me this was a magical and enchanting journey, truly the
holiday of a lifetime which exceeded all my expectations.
Every day was special, although the highlight was the
pyramid. I learned so much that I am still trying to absorb
it all! I feel as if I was on a journey of several weeks,
such was the intensity of the experience. I am very grateful
for the opportunity this trip has given me to grow as a
person. The cost of the trip, although it seemed expensive
as I saved, in light of all we did, it was extremely good
value for money, in fact I am amazed at all we got for what
we actually paid! This has definitely been a superb
experience, and I will cherish my memories for a long time.
Best wishes

Dear Vicki,
I hope this finds you well....
Finally getting around to some feedback I promised after the
Egypt tour.
Wow we what an amazing magical trip ..... The journey of the
priestess indeed..... from bus to boat to temples and tombs,
dessert, perfumeries, Egyptian rugs, pictures, balloon ride
and of course the Pyramids..... what an experience both
spiritually and historically! How did we fit it all in....
Amazing meditations starting in Aswan to Luxor, Cairo and of
course cruising up the Nile, working on our chakra's
developing my inner soul with each and every chakra, taking
in the dark and light, male and female... changing all
the time along the way.
I felt blessed to have some lovely soul's in our group and
of course Vicki to lead the way, how we all supported one
another was another highlight of the trip , not to forget
our guide Mohammed who was excellent in his historic skills
but truly a genuine Egyptian friend who looked after us.
I have many personal highlights from day 1 in Abu Simbel our
group held hands inside the temple where I had a magical
release, a great start to the journey. I loved the
beautiful stories that had been prepared especially for
us for meditations truly evolving my Egyptian priestess
within me, following the events from visiting the temples
the stories went beautifully within the meditations
allowing us to really find our higher self. The final
initiation was something of which one must truly experience
themselves it was such a transforming magical experience.
I would like to thank Vicki for all her beautiful hard work
she put into this perfect trip, and also to the gorgeous
souls in the group for a simply wonderful experience in
which I will be sure to do again in 2012!!! I recommend
anyone who has a thirst for the spiritual realm to do this
trip and come home a changed and more beautiful soul than
ever!!!!
Peace, love and light

When I first met Vicki I was so shy I could not make myself
tell her what I came for. Her patience and gentle prodding
eventually helped me build up the confidence to open up.
A year later I plucked up the courage to join her spiritual
tour to Egypt. With her encouragement I eventually overcame
many challenges and not only went abroad for the first time
in my life but joined and participated in an educational and
exciting journey of a lifetime. My fears were proven wrong,
the group was warm, down to earth and I was made extremely
welcome. I got all the support needed from them and from
Vicki who has become a life teacher to me.
That tour was a turning point; I am now mastering the
confidence, shyness and control issues that have hampered me
all my life. In fact I look, feel and am a different person
since then. I have now been to Egypt with Vicki 3 times and
would thoroughly recommend the spiritual tours to anyone
with a draw to Egypt or a desire to turn their lives around.
Vicki is a brilliant group leader she can answer any
question, helps without making it obvious, and is a good
laugh.
All my trips have been magical and special and I can't wait
until the next one.

Hi V, *funnily* enough I've been meaning to contact you over
the last few days but as you say, life takes over...
I really found it very odd getting back to Xmas et al but
really appreciated being on Bute again - a nice surprise
since I'd wondered how I'd feel being back after Egypt.
I've had my ups & downs since (including coming back to the
news that the house sale had fallen thro!) but in general,
just enjoyed BE-ing. Feels like an extension of Egypt for
me! The effects of this wonderful trip are still with me I
guess - like I'm leaving a vapour trail ~ ~ ~~ ~ wherever I
go.....
What can I say? The group, the magic & the desert (for me in
particular) & of course one of the many highlights the ((((
sound )))) in the kings chamber that the group made ! But
don't ask me to remember much more than that in the chamber
;-) I was well somewhere *****else*****
:-)))
I just felt such a sense of stillness within myself & within
the group - even despite the occasional dramas which for the
most part I was able to sidestep... & I discovered yet more
resourcefulness, acceptance & self-love as a result - how
different things would have been if I'd been less adaptable
after that sleepless night ! That night of sleeping under
the stars & waking up to the crescent moon, Jupiter & the
sounds of the call to prayer will stay with me for the rest
of my life I reckon.
One other lasting memory will be our pee stops in the desert
- a novel way of getting to know each other more ( ! )
ha,ha! But(t) seriously, I loved these moments of just being
in the desert & I collected rocks & crystals from every
stop. The extra baggage fee was worth it cos I've now got
such a lovely collection of reminders of the warmth &
silence of the desert!
I'm sure there will be more musings to come but I'll leave
you with the above for now...
Looking forward to hearing about your stay in Siwa - looks
fab! I even managed not to feel jealous (lair!;-) when I saw
your pics...
Abundant love & hugs

Egypt
was a powerful experience and I am still considering the
time we spent together. For me it was not a holiday, but
healing work. But that is my work and I chose to do it and
feel fulfilled. It is the level at which I live normally,
even in this small village in the middle of nowhere. Before
I left, it was remarkable and noticeable just how many folk
offered to think about me, send healing, pray for me.
Whenever I heard their generosity, I was very serious,
thankful and knew I would need it. And so it was.
In the desert I became ill and very quickly lost my energy.
I could have died and it was "a close shave" as you said.
Much gratitude for all the seen and unseen help, as my
choice to live faded. The healing session with the 4 of you
was very powerful and we defeated the black energy that
forcefully wanted to kill me specifically, even after
thousands of years. I loved the desert and wish I had had
more energy to appreciate it more. More nights in the Dakhla
Desert Lodge would have been great to feel into the desert
and healing. All the hotels were a delight and gems in their
own right. I wish them great success. Amr needs to be
congratulated in finding them for us to enjoy. The itinerary
was excellent. Packed and intense but still marvellously
adaptable and flexible. Wise consultations together with
Mohammed really achieved an effective and sensitive
experience. Mohammed was a wonder in himself. He smoothed
our way, all the way. Each day I said "What &day" and then
we would have another the next day. You both gave us very
good advice, which I heeded, supported and led us
gracefully. I loved getting up very early in the morning and
having a full day. The many sunrises and sunsets - Yes! The
variety was wonderful. Aswan, Abu Simbel, the Nile Cruise,
desert and Cairo. The temples and tombs. The teachings and
the silence. The sunbathing and the shopping. I loved going
to the artist's home in Farfria and listening to him, his
openhearted generosity, sharing his love of his homeland. I
loved the hot air balloon ride and wanted to nip back and do
it all again. Such fun, joy and efficiency and another
sunrise. All your planning and re-planning was well worth
it. Thanks. I am so glad that you used Jim and Holidaymakers
in Aboyne. He was a blessing to us too. All worked very
well. And we folks as a group made it great too. Joy all
round. Thanks for a great, visionary experience. The
spiritual dimension made it so much more. The visualisations,
the silent circles in the sanctuaries, the awareness just
multiplied the wonder of Egypt. Big, big thanks.
